Check it out: Elle Canada mentioned Formerlyhot.com in their 2010 horoscope column! I’m hoping that the other 11 signs of the zodiac will pop by for a read, and not just cancers.
What’s cool about their mention is that I don’t actually know anyone at Elle Canada, and I don’t know the writer, Georgia Nichols. Every other mention the site has gotten in print so far has been through friends or formerly colleagues, so I’m taking this as a sign that this lowly blog is going worldwide! OK, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but I’m psyched nonetheless.
Thanks, Elle Canada!
In other news, I just finished up with the copy edits for the book, which is (for now, anyway) being called Formerly Hot…Finally Content: Discovering Who You Are When You’re No Longer What You Were.
What do you think of that title?

For the title of the book, to quote the beacon of all time intellectual movies, Dumb & Dumber, I like it. I like it a lot!
As for the plug in Elle Canada-WOO HOO!!! I am thrilled for you!
Bravo, Stephanie!!!!!

I think it’s great – gives it a very universal appeal.

I really like the first part of the title. The subtitle seems a bit wordy.

Sorry for leaving multiple comments, but I thought of a better way to word what I think: the title says so much, has such an impact, that the subtitle only dilutes it.

Congrats! I am SO glad I found your blog!!! I love the title as is…don’t change a thing!
